Average points are awarded to non-predictors. If you predicted in Week 24 but didn't manage to predict in Week 25 you get the average score across all the people who did predict in Week 25. This was caused by our database being shut down by our webhost due to some unusual activity which overloaded the server. We hope that we have now resolved the issue and we are now back up and running. It looks like more than 90% of regular predictors managed to predict for the Prediction Premiership, Prediction Championship and SuperScots games that took place on those evenings before the site went down, so we're going to let those predictions stand. And the second round starts on Saturday, so we'd better get the qualification criteria sorted sharpish... But not before we've congratulated If you know your history who topped the first round table, but only on score prediction points, from The Minsterman. All that means nothing, mind you, when we wipe the scores and cut the field in half. 82 people took part in the first round overall, which means that if you finished in 41st place or better you may take your place in the next round. Put it another way, if you got fewer than 95 points then you're out. Good luck to anyone who's qualfied, bad luck to those who didn't.
